Bec has recently completed her Bachelors of Arts and Music at the
Australian Catholic University, where she majored in Performance, Music
History, and minored in Choral Conducting and Mathematics. As well as
both solo and group university performances, she has been involved for
many years in a variety of local Operetta companies, and has taken
on both principal and ensemble roles within these productions.
Her work experience includes working with the Australian Girls choir
from 2003 to 2006, as a venue manager and tutor of the junior music
school. As a tutor, she was required to teach repetoire and
choreography as well as basic music literacy skills. The classes were
fast paced, energetic and fun, and through her work she developed skills
in working with, and delivering materials to children at an
appropriate level.
With a keen interest in continuing as a performer and teacher in the
future, Bec's previous experiences working with children is evident in her performances with Tony Bones Entertainment. She is an enthusiastic
and energetic performer, who loves learning new skills and working
with children in a fun & creative way.
