| Kirsten is a graduate of “Dance Factory” holding a Certificate III in Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance. She has studied voice with John Orcisk and John Cussins, singing with Geraldine Morrow, improvisation with David Swann and David Smith and has studied short courses at both Victorian College of the Arts and The National Theatre. She has taught dance at Monash University for the past 11 years and also choreographs musicals for primary schools and has put together rock eisteddfods for several Victorian high schools.
In addition to her dancing and teaching, Kirsten has been involved in children’s entertainment for many years. She has performed in many pantomimes for “Warner Bros. And Showtime” appearing at various shopping centers throughout Victoria, as well as playing the role of Cricket in “Pinocchio, and performing in shows such as “Cinderella” and “The Rugrats Tour”. Music Theatre appearances include productions of “Anything Goes” and “Carousel”, her T.V credits include “Neighbors” and “Stingers” and her film appearances include roles in “The Ripper”, “Child Star” and “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”. In amongst this career, Kirsten is also employed as a nanny.
She is thrilled to be working for TBE and loves entertaining children as they have such incredible energy and enthusiasm. |
