Lauren’s love of performing began at the tender age of 4 when she began attending calisthenics at her local club. Fifteen years later, while continuing calisthenics and doing numerous musicals and drama shows at High School, Lauren’s passion for performing followed her to university, where she studied a Bachelor of Performing Arts at Monash.
While completing her degree, Lauren has performed in many shows including, Les Miserables, West Side Story, and Urinetown: The Musical. She has also played the roles of ‘Denise’ in the Australian Premiere of The Baker’s Wife (Monash Performing Arts), ‘Bebe’ in A Chorus Line (Whitehorse Musical Theatre), Helena in the World Premiere of Silly Season (Monash Performing Arts), and Evelyn Nesbitt in the Australian Premiere of Ragtime the Musical (Monash CS).
2008 is already shaping up to being a busy year for Lauren, as she is already set to play ‘Rory’ in the Australasian Premiere of Bare: A Pop Opera with SHooSH! Productions in February and be a part of the The Wedding Singer with Williamstown Musical Theatre Company in May.
Lauren is also completing a Diploma of Education at Monash this year.
Lauren is excited to be a part of the Tony Bones experience, and cannot wait to party!
