Louise is a busy and passionate performer who loves entertaining and teaching children. Growing up in a large family Louise was a children’s entertainer before she even knew such careers existed.
Louise has trained in voice for nine years. She has studied several styles including classical, jazz, musical theatre and contemporary singing with teachers such as David Rogers-Smith and David Jaanz.
As an actress she is currently coached by Colette Mann, and has studied at numerous acting institutions around Australia. Courses include NIDA – Acting true with Anton Grags, Triple Threat Musical Theatre with Avagail Herman, and Screen Acting with Nathanial Dean, and at the Australian Centre of Performing Arts she studied in Masterclass with Lindsay Saddington.
Louise has also been involved in many performances around Melbourne including performing at Chapel Off Chapel in Anne Woods ‘Acting Song’. In 2004 Louise performed her own showcase at Caper’s Cabaret, and sang at the Crown Showroom her original song in the televised ‘Elite Showcase’ alongside stars such as Cosima and Kate Alexia.
Other notable performances include lead roles in “Into The Woods” in concert,
“The Shaugraun”, “Broadway Fever”, “Fame the Musical”, “Cloudstreet”, “Six Characters Looking For An Author”, “The Crucible”, “Chess The Musical”, “Pippin”, and various showcases at Chapel Off Chapel and other venues throughout Victoria.
Louise is also trained in Dance in the styles of Contemporary, Classical and Jazz. She is a singer, songwriter and guitarist, and is currently featured on the CD “100% Melbourne”, a collection of the best unsigned recording artists in Melbourne.
