About Our Cabarets

Tony Bones Entertainment perform a diverse range of favourite tunes and songs for the musical connoisseur, and can vary them to accommodate your specific needs and tastes.

We have three set shows available to choose from or you can request new material if you prefer. The shows all have a variety of popular music theatre songs within them but each has a specific favoured composer. The Lloyd Webber show does feature other composers but the main influence is Lloyd Webber's works. The Gilbert & Sullivan show is a full show with characters and a gripping storyline, but also features works from other composers surrounding the work of Gilbert & Sullivan. Our third show is a true mix of popular music theatre from everyone's favourite shows and can include a cast of three to five performers, depending on your event.

We have the capabilities to write, direct and perform to whatever your specifications demand, including scripting event specific characters or dialogue, or including specific songs that you may desire at your event.

Our resident composer and musical director, Tim Smith, has been collaborating with Tony Bones Entertainment since 2000. He has achieved both Arts and Education degrees from Monash and Melbourne Universities. He has since worked as vocal coach and musical director for MTC's recent production of Bombshells with Caroline O'Connor, SHOUT! The Musical, and Barbara Streisand's Australian tour. He has worked many times with Disney in productions such as Beauty & The Beast and musical events throughout Asia. He also played keyboard for the Michael Crawford Australian and New Zealand tours, lectured at the National Theatre and The Victorian College of the Arts Music Theatre courses and has extensive experience as a singing teacher, arranger, composer and freelance pianist.

Our shows are adaptable. They can be scripted with dialogue between the performers and the audience themselves, or we can just sing the songs. Light hearted humour and engaging drama can punctuate the shows and offer what many consider to be a more complete programme for your performance. The choice is yours.
