"The
Mikado's Pinafore Pirates" is a two Act collaborative musical
that tells the tale of Nicholas Johnson, a young law graduate. He
decides to throw caution to the wind and pursue a career in performing,
despite the fact that he has no experience in the field at all.
His performer friends help him put together a comical showcase of
Gilbert & Sullivan favourites woven into a script that borrows
from "The Mikado", "H.M.S. Pinafore" and "The
Pirates of Penzance". Surrounding this showcase is a varied
selection of popular music theatre numbers from shows such as "The
Boy From Oz", "FAME", "Man of La Mancha",
"La Cage Aux Folles", "Barnum", "Tell Me
On A Sunday", "Baby", "Company" and "A
Chorus Line". The story is one of dreams of success, longing
