"Enjoyed the depth of the characters. They were real and had real life situations. The children discussed the characters and made comparisons with people they know who are insecure, lonely and grumpy. They didn’t mention any names but were able to suggest reasons why people feel this way. We all enjoyed the happy ending. Irving made it and if we try we can achieve good things as well. "Both the staff and the students really enjoyed this performance. It was appropriate for the children in Grades Prep – 2 with humour, colour, action and music. The performance enhanced prior readings of the story and ‘ brought the story to life’. The children were receptive to the message of ‘trying your best’.
